Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the drainage services provided by Leeds Drains. By hiring our engineers or requesting help through our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Agreement
When you request a visit from our drainage engineers, we will confirm an appointment slot. Our team will attend the property to diagnose the drainage blockage, leak, or structural defect.
2. Pricing and Call-Out Fees
We operate a strict No Call-Out Fee policy. We do not charge you simply for our engineer traveling to your property.
- Upon arrival, our engineer will diagnose the drainage issue.
- We will provide a clear, firm price quote for the unblocking or repair work.
- No work will begin, and no charges will apply, until you have approved the quote.
- If you choose not to accept the quote, no charge is payable.
3. Shared Sewer Responsibility
If our diagnostic check (including CCTV inspections) reveals that the blockage lies in a shared public sewer or outside your property boundaries, the responsibility for clearance may belong to Yorkshire Water. We will explain this finding to you, and in such cases, you will not be charged by us for any work, as the issue must be resolved by the utility authority.
4. Liability Limits
While we carry full public liability insurance, we are not liable for pre-existing structural damage (such as collapsed pipes, foundation cracks, or root-choked joints) that our diagnostic cameras identify during inspections.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, under the jurisdiction of the courts of Leeds.
